Accessible/No Floor Classes

The classes in this series are aimed at people who find it difficult or who are unable to get down onto the floor easily, often due to other conditions such as arthritis, knee replacements or mobility issues.

They’re also great as a starting point immediately after surgery, even when still in hospital when lying on the floor isn’t possible. They’re also useful as an additional class for people who want to throw a quick movement session into their day, perhaps at work or at a time when lying on the floor isn’t optimal.

The classes involve a mix of standing and seated exercises to work on your core, pelvic floor and general strength/balance. The classes progress in difficulty but are still gentle and safe to do. Class 1 can be started as soon as 5 days post-surgery and can be done whilst still in hospital or at home whenever you’re ready.
