Advanced – Class 2 of 3
High level advanced class aimed at those who have progressed through the full range of my classes and are generally more athletic and able to work at a higher level.
These classes include high load exercises and movements and can be challenging, although are still safe and appropriate for anyone with a stoma BUT only after doing Intermediate level. Ideally you would be around 4-6 months post-surgery AND have completed Intermediate level classes.
Each class is 30 minutes long, can be paused and watched back at any time.

Further information
Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work and may resemble more ‘traditional’ Pilates classes.
- Equipment needed – a small cushion or towel, mat, Pilates ball
- The classes are safe, slow paced, extremely gentle, mostly they are on the floor on a mat so you’ll be lying on your back, side or on your hands and knees.
- Designed to help you reconnect with your core muscles and rebuild your confidence.
- In line with UK clinical nursing guidelines and based on physio led clinical Pilates.
You will need a phone, tablet, computer or some other device to watch the videos (the bigger the better – connecting to a TV screen is ideal so you can see the movements more clearly). It will also need a speaker so that you can hear the instructions clearly.
